More About This Collection

In the first half of the 20th century, pulp fiction magazines & paperbacks were extremely popular.

During the Great Depression "Pulps" were one of the only affordable (& legal) means of entertainment for the masses.

Made from cheap wood pulp, hence the name, some pulps were so popular they sold up to one million copies per issue.

Lurid, sensationalist and, by today's standards, shockingly un-PC, the magazines & pulp paperbacks needed cover art to match the words.

Cheap, tacky &, in some cases, just plain wrong, pulp art is right up our street.

From weird fiction to raunchy romance, from sexy sci-fi to horny heroes, there are so many pulp covers to choose from.

These are some of our faves!
